There are several methods for becoming a Captain as well.
Method 1: If there are open Captains spots an individual may be allowed to take the Captains Proficiency Exam to see if they possess the aptitude to be a Captain. It must be taken in the presence of three captains or the Captain Commander and one other Captain. If they pass they will assigned to the open squad of their choosing.
Method 2: If there are no available Captains positions an individual will be allowed to challenge a Captain for their position. The challenge must be performed in front of a minimum of three individuals of at least Vice Captain rank and one must be another Captain other then the one being challenged. A Captain does not have the right to refuse a challenge for their position. One may only challenge for a Captains position once a month to prevent spam challenge requests.
Method 3: If there are open Captains spots an individual must attain recommendations from six of the current Captains and approval from at least three of the remaining seven. This case can be altered if the number of current Captains does not allow for it.
- Spoiler:
Vice Captain: The Vice Captains are the second in command of their squad. They take their orders directly from their squad Captain and can sometimes have special roles within the function of their squad. There is only one method to become a Vice Captain.
Method 1: A Vice Captain must be appointed by the Captain of their respective squad. This is the only method of attaining this rank.
All other ranks are dictated by the executive officers of their respective squads with the Captain and Vice Captain(with the authority of their Captain) appointing seated officers ranking from 3 to 20. All other members of these squads will simply be standard squad members.
